Finding Books, E-books, and other materials

Search for books, e-books, articles, and other materials at Western Oregon University, Summit, and beyond.

NOTE: You can read e-books on any computer or download to your digital device. See: Using eBooks @ WOU

Orbis-Cascade (SUMMIT): Libraries and locations

Distance Education Students

Distance Education Students

If you are a distance education student and live out of state, you may request WOU and Summit books be mailed to you.

The library will include return postage in the mailing.  If you don't think you can get the book back by the due date, e-mail Robert Monge.

Send Robert the title of the book.

Request the book through Primo. When you get an e-mail confirming it has arrived and is ready for pickup, contact Robert.

If you need just a few chapters from a book (WOU or SUMMIT), contact Robert. We can scan and email you a PDF instead of mailing.

Using your WOU ID, you can visit an Orbis Cascade Alliance Library [Summit] in your area and arrange to have Summit items delivered to that library instead of to WOU. Ask to be signed up as a Summit Visiting Patron, then use that library’s Primo to request books.

If you live outside of a 30 mile radius of a participating Summit library, you can request items be mailed to you.
