Stairs

Stairs are located at the north and south ends of each floor.


Book Drops

 

There are three book drops available for patron use:

  • East Entrance
    • in the library parking lot
  • Inside the library
    • next to the Checkout Desk
  • West Entrance
    • near the 24hr room
 

 

 

Elevators and Restrooms

The elevator is accessible in the lobby area of each floor.

Located in the hallway north of the elevator are:

  • Restrooms
  • Drinking Fountains

 

Lockers

Located near the restrooms on the 1st floor are lockers. 

 

They can be checked out for a term. 

 

Kiosk Computers w/ Basic Library Services

 

Available on each floor outside the restroom area and at the north end of each floor.
More are available on the first floor near the Info/Checkout Desks.

Study and Conference Spaces

Study rooms are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.

These rooms can be reserved:

  • online at Astra
  • at the Information Desk 24 hours in advance

Currently reserved rooms can be viewed here. Rooms without active reservations may be occupied. 

 

Study Carrels

Scattered throughout the floors are study carrels. 

Study carrels located on the outside perimeter are connected to power. 

While study carrels located in the middle of the floor have no power connection. 

 

Conference rooms are also available on all three floors.

HL 116

1st floor conference room, HL 116, is north of the reference desk.

This room houses a wide screen LCD that can be used with personal laptops.

HL 205 & HL 210

2nd floor conference rooms, HL 205 and HL 210, are at the top of the south stairs.

Both rooms are for general use and contain projectors/screens that can be used with personal laptops.

HL 301

3rd floor conference room, HL301A, is at the top of the south stairs.

HL301A houses a wide screen LCD that can be used with A-V and computers. 

This room is available by reservation for use by university faculty.
