  • Classical Music Library  
    Rating
    Provides online streaming access to more than 4,000 albums and 60,000 tracks of classical music recordings from respected labels. Recordings are selected for inclusion in consultation with widely recognized authorities in the field. Access restricted to current WOU students, faculty, and staff.
  • Classical Scores Library  
    Rating
    Includes the full-text of more than 20,000 classical scores from both in-copyright and public domain editions. Contains works by all major Western classical composers spanning time periods from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Download scores in PDF format. The database also includes direct links to audio tracks for works that are available in the associated Classical Music Library database. Access restricted to current WOU students, faculty and staff.

    An online streaming music service that lets you listen on demand from a catalogue of more than 12 million tracks. Must register a free account to listen. Free play time is limited, but you can earn more time by exploring and contributing to the site.

    Rating
    A streaming music service that allows users to upload and share music. Play specific tracks on demand and create playlists. Also offers auto-suggestion channels to help users discover new music.
  • Internet Archive: Audio Archive

    This library contains over two hundred thousand free digital recordings ranging from digitized copies of 78 rpm and cylinder recordings now in the public domain, to Grateful Dead concerts, to Old Time Radio shows, to book and poetry readings, to original music uploaded by our users. Many of these audios and MP3s are available for free download.
  • iTunes Store  
    Rating
    Browse the entire iTunes catalog, including millions of high-quality, DRM-free songs available for purchase. Catalog also includes movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, and apps. Website also provides access to sales chart data.

    A digital music service that allows you to search for and play specific songs on demand, legally. Listen to 25 tracks for free each month, or get unlimited access by purchasing a monthly subscription. Has a large catalogue that includes all genres of music. Especially strong for post-1950 recordings.

    A music download service available by monthly subscription. Offers a fixed number of downloads per month based on subscription level. Catalogue includes more than 9 million tracks from thousands of record labels covering all genres of music. Free trial and special promotions available for new subscribers.
