Newspapers

Step 1: View the following tutorial on Newspapers--Understanding Who Creates Them and How You Can Use Them in Your Research.

Step 2: Complete the following worksheet on Newspaper Research  

The library has two newspapers databases: Lexis Nexis and Newspaper Source.

To get to Lexis-Nexis, go to the library home page www.wou.edu/library / Select Articles and Database under the Find Information tab / From the Short Cuts to... menu (right side of screen) select Lexis-Nexis.

To get to Newspaper Source, go to the library home page www.wou.edu/library / Select Articles and Database under the Find Information tab / From the alphabetical list at top of page, select the letter N / from list of databases select Newspaper Source.
