Black History of Oregon with Walidah Imarisha Webinar May 12th, 2022 Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm Walidah Imarisha will speak about Oregon Black history, and the history of race, identity, and power in the Northwest. Imarisha is a transformative speaker who has presented statewide as a public scholar with Oregon Humanities Conversation Project on several topics, including Oregon Black history. She is also author of the nonfiction book Angels with Dirty Faces: Three Stories of Crime, Prison, and Redemption, which won a 2017 Oregon Book Award. |
