A multimedia presentation about vocal health targeted to teachers in general, not only music teachers. Information includes the anatomy and physiology of the vocal chords, how illnesses, medications, and hormones affect the voice, vocally healthy and unhealthy habits and environments. Also the six-week journal of a middle school vocal music teacher as she worked with a portable voice amplification system while teaching.

National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Organizes educational opportunities (conferences, workshops, online discussion, master classes, etc.), competitions and auditions, and employment databases for teachers of singing. As part of the Northwestern region, the NATS Cascade Chapter holds local events.
