...lists any Articles OnDemand access we have. Articles OnDemand enables the library to provide quick access to journals that we don't pre-pay for through subscriptions. The library pays each time an article is viewed through the Articles OnDemand provider's website. The average cost is $30 per view, per article. The library budgets for Articles OnDemand use, and we encourage your active yet purposeful use of this service. We ask you to
Read the abstract of each article to determine how likely it is to suit your needs before viewing the full text and incurring charges.
When you choose to view full text, be sure to save the article locally (e.g. to your H:/ drive, My Documents folder, or a USB drive) so that the library only pays once.
Be considerate of the research needs of fellow students, faculty, and staff in your use of the Articles OnDemand service.
In some cases, an article is available through a pre-pay source (e.g. full-text or print) as well as through Articles OnDemand. Please use the pre-pay option whenever possible.
Note -- Some Articles OnDemand access won’t have the article immediately, but we’ll send it to you as a PDF within two business days.
