For students and staff of the information/reference desk

Crestron Media Panel

There are three ways for patrons to utilize the display technology in the conference rooms. Patrons may either:

a) use the dell computer in the room (paired with the matching wireless mouse/keyboard from checkout).

b) use the built-in AirMedia functionality to wirelessly stream their own laptop to the television.

c) checkout an HDMI or VGA cable from the checkout desk to physically connect their laptop to the television display.

Connecting to the Projector/Television

Desktop Computer

  1. Checkout the accompanying wireless keyboard & mouse kit from the checkout desk.
  2. Cycle the power button (1) a couple of times on the Crestron unit to wake up the TV.
  3. Press the button the Crestron unit corresponding to the Dell Desktop (3).

HDMI / VGA Connectivity (for use with own laptop)

  1. Checkout the accompanying Audio/Video cable kit from the checkout desk.
  2. Connect appropriate A/V cable to the personal laptop and the appropriate port on the Input Panel.
  3. Cycle the power button (1) a couple of times on the Crestron unit to wake up the TV.
  4. Press the button the Crestron unit corresponding to the appropriate A/V device you're using: (5) for HDMI or (6) for VGA.

AirMedia Wireless Display

  1. Cycle the power button (1) a couple of times on the Crestron Media Panel to wake up the TV.
  2. Press the button the Crestron unit corresponding to the AirMedia Display (4).
  3. Enter the IP Address displayed on the TV into a web browser.
    1. If not already present on laptop, install the AirMedia2 application.
  4. Once the AirMedia2 application is open, enter the 4-digit code displayed on the TV.
  5. Once connected, the AirMedia will display the desktop.
  6. Use the AirMedia Control Panel to control your desktop presentation.

AirMedia Control Panel

  1. Stop presenting your screen
  2. Begin presenting your screen
  3. Mute computer audio
  4. AirMedia can either duplicate your screen or extend the display
  5. Allow others in the room to view your screen from their own device
