Histogram
Definition: A graph that displays the distribution of numerical data by dividing it into bins (ranges) and showing the frequency or relative frequency of data points within each bin. The bars are adjacent to each other.
When to Use: Use histograms to understand the shape of the distribution of a single numerical variable. They can show if the data is normally distributed, skewed, or has multiple peaks.

VIDEO WATCHING TIPS: Embedded videos will start at a lower resolution (making the video seem blurry) but typically improve in 10-15 seconds. Once the video is playing you can also select to watch at a higher resolution by selecting the gear icon, the quality drop down menu, then 720p. For a clear video you can also watch on YouTube.
