iOS or Android devices
On iPad/iPhone or Android Devices:
- Get an app to read ebooks. We suggest Bluefire Reader app (free download for iOS and Android).
Find the eBook in our collection.
Sign in to ebrary, EBL or EBSCO: For ebrary or EBL ebooks, use your WOU Pawprint. For EBSCO ebooks, use your My EBSCOhost account.
Download the book. You will be prompted to open it with Bluefire.
- Authorization: click “Authorize” or “Cancel,” as desired.
- An Adobe ID login (free). If you don’t have one or don’t remember it, click “Get Adobe ID” to sign up or have credentials emailed to you from within the app.
The default web browser on some Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy series, does not download epub files.
If your device never downloads the file (check the downloads option in the menu to make sure), you may need to download an alternate web browser. Firefox and Chrome are both available via Google Play and work well for downloading files.
