Zotero

Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is a browser addon that allows you to collect, manage, and cite sources.

Zotero will run on any operating system. Installation only takes a few seconds. To install:

  1. Go to https://www.zotero.org/ and follow the instructions for your browser.
  2. On the Zotero Site, go to the Styles Repository and find the ACS style your instructor has asked you to use. Several WOU faculty use the ACS Nano.

If you work mostly on a personal laptop or home computer, you'll probably also want to download and install the Word Processor plugins . These allow you to easily cite items from your Zotero library in your papers.
