A panoramic view of the in-room meeting displays consistently. Video tiles for in-room attendees appear dynamically, based on speech frequency. Tiles for remote attendees appear as normal for the software.The video conferencing software otherwise functions as normal.
Control the speaker volume and mute the microphone with buttons near the Owl’s base.
The Meeting Owl streams its audio and video to your computer via USB. The Wi-Fi and bluetooth connections are not involved in the streaming, and the Owl does not record, collect or transmit any video or audio data. The Owl detects and logs anonymous meeting metadata. If you want to control the Meeting Owl’s camera—to override the automatic operation—download the free Meeting Owl app on a Phone, iPad, Mac, Android, or Windows device. The app can run on the same device that’s running the video conference software, or on a different device.
Using Bluetooth, the app connects to any nearby Owl that’s powered on.
