General Guidelines for Citing ChatGPT/Gemini or Other AI Tools

Company. (Year). Program (Day used version) [Large Language model] 

• List the name of the company. 
• List the year used in parentheses (year). 
• In italics list the Program 
• In parenthesis list the day used (day used version) 
• In brackets list type of AI [Large Language model] 
• Include the URL 

Example of a ChatGPT reference entry: 

OpenAI. (2025). ChatGPT (July 14 version) [Large Language model]. https://chatgpt.com/
